Welcome to the Transgender DragonBeast! A place to share my writing, thoughts, and dreams. Although my ultimate goal is to change the world (aka. world domination… pinky and the brain style)! I really just want to be happy and proud with good friends. This blog is a way for me to find my voice and speak about experiences and ideas and characters I care about.
The identity boxes I relate to: Trans*, gay, queer, man*, mixed, white, Iraqi-Jew, American. What do these mean? I don’t know half the time. They often feel quite meaningless. I won’t be a happy person if I try to fit myself into a box.
More importantly – I love ALL things creative. I love activism, good conversation, fresh air, wild flowers, games (esp shesh pesh and poker), coffee, walking, friends, dancing, and the stars.
DragonBeast is my alter ego who goes by the “grr” pronoun (explained here). DragonBeast is from DragonLand where grr was known as DragonPearl. This blog will sometimes follow the adventures of DragonBeast as grr explores the air, hunts for food, visits family, falls in love, and much much more (got suggestions for an adventure, let me know!)
